About Anna Fera

Hello, I’m Anna Fera, a professional photographer based in New York City and available beyond NYC for travel sessions and special events. I specialize in family photography, surprise proposals, engagements, weddings, solo portraits, and vacation photo tours. Over the years, I’ve been honored to see my work featured in local and international publications, including Vogue, Parents Magazine, Elegant, Malvie, Moevir, Luxia, and Beyondall.

My style is natural and timeless. I focus on clean, flattering portraits while also capturing candid moments that feel real. Just as important, I photograph New York in a way that makes the location part of the story—images that instantly look like NYC without needing a caption to explain it. Whether the session is in Central Park, on the Brooklyn Bridge, in DUMBO, around Midtown streets, or near the waterfront, the final gallery should feel both personal and unmistakably New York.

During a session, the experience is simple and easy. You don’t need to know how to pose. You’ll be guided with clear direction, small movements, and natural prompts so the photos look relaxed rather than forced. Sessions can be planned as a short mini session for one main location and a couple of nearby spots, or as a longer session for bigger families and groups who want variety—family portraits, individual photos, smaller group combinations, and candid moments across multiple backgrounds.

Before focusing on people, I began my photography work in restaurant and food photography, then expanded into real estate and interiors. That foundation shaped my approach: strong composition, clean lines, and attention to detail. Over time, I shifted fully into portrait photography and built a photo tour experience designed for visitors who want to explore New York City while creating a complete gallery—multiple locations, different looks, and a route that feels like a fun walk through the city rather than a staged shoot.

I work independently and personally handle each session from start to finish. Clients often choose this approach because it stays consistent: one photographer, clear communication, and a calm, organized process. Whether you’re planning a surprise proposal, celebrating with your family, visiting NYC for the first time, or hosting a private event at a rooftop, restaurant, or indoor venue, the goal is the same—photos that feel natural, polished, and true to the moment.

If you’d like to plan a session, the best next step is to share your date, group size, and the NYC locations you’re interested in. From there, the timing and route can be planned in a straightforward way so the experience stays smooth and enjoyable.
