Hello, I’m Anna Fera, a professional photographer based in New York City. I specialize in family photography, surprise proposals, engagement sessions, solo portraits, vacation photography, weddings, and private events throughout NYC.
My photography combines natural, flattering portraits with the unmistakable look of New York City. Every session is planned so the location becomes part of the photographs, from Central Park and the Brooklyn Bridge to DUMBO, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Fifth Avenue, SoHo, the West Village, and the streets of Lower Manhattan.

Photographing in New York requires more than choosing a beautiful location. Light, crowds, walking distance, street activity, seasonal changes, and the time of day can completely change a session.
Years of photographing around NYC have shaped the way I plan each route. Sessions are organized around the best timing and location combinations, with attention to both portraits and the New York backgrounds that make each gallery distinctive.
Sessions range from shorter photo shoots focused on one area to extended New York City photo tours covering several locations. Family portraits, individual photographs, couples, candid moments, and different city backgrounds can all be included within the same session.
Experience and Published Work
Before specializing in portrait photography, I worked in restaurant and food photography as well as real estate and interior photography. That experience developed a strong focus on composition, clean lines, lighting, architecture, and small details.
My photography has also been featured in local and international publications, including Vogue, Parents Magazine, Elegant, Malvie, Moevir, Luxia, and Beyondall.
Today, my work is focused on photographing people throughout New York City and creating galleries that feel polished, natural, and clearly connected to NYC.
